2022 Maruti XL6 – What to Expect

Going by the earlier spy shots, the visual upgrades are likely to be minor in the form of slightly revised grille inserts, new LED headlights & taillamps, and bigger dual-tone alloy wheels. The rest of the exterior design is likely to remain unchanged.

Inside, the MPV could receive a new 7-inch touchscreen Smartplay Pro infotainment system with an advanced version of Suzuki Connect tech. The automatic variants will also receive paddle shifters, providing you with more control of your vehicle.

Beneath the bonnet, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 will get new Ertiga’s 115PS 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, K15C DualJet DualVVT petrol engine, paired with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission replacing the earlier 4-speed unit. Besides, it will continue to get its existing 5-speed manual transmission. Its fuel efficiency is expected to be better than its previous version.

Since the new XL6 will is likely to receive the above-mentioned changes, we expect its prices to be increased to a decent margin. Currently, it ranges from 10.14 lakh to Rs 12.02 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and rivals the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo.
