Kia Carens After Sales Packages Introduced For Extended Warranty and Maintenance

To provide added peace of mind to its customers, Kia India has launched the ‘My Convenience Plus’ after-sales package for the Carens 6/7-seater MPV that comprises maintenance coverage to up to 5 years, extended warranty, and even roadside assistance (optional) with alloy wheel and tire damage cover. It also covers engine damages by incorrect refueling by customers.

The Kia Carens ‘My Convenience Plus’ maintenance package is available in two options: Premium and Luxury. Here are the details: –

In addition to the above-mentioned package, customers of Kia Carens can also opt the  ‘Care Shield’ and  ‘Care Shield+’ schemes. While both provide accidental repair coverage (subject to certain conditions), the latter also covers the legal fee (max limit Rs 1 lakh) for up to two accidents that go to court.

Talking about the Kia Carens, it is the brand’s fourth offering in the Indian market. It comes in five trims: Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus, which are priced between Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia has offered the Carens with the three engine options: 115PS/144Nm 1.5-litre petrol (with 6-speed MT), 140PS/242Nm 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (with 6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT), and 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel (6-speed MT, 6-speed AT). In the Indian market, it goes up against the Maruti Ertiga, XL, Mahindra Marazzo, and Hyundai Alcazar.
