Tata Nexon EV Gets Expensive By Up To Rs 25,000

Planning to buy Tata Nexon EV? If yes, then get ready to shell out more as the carmaker has increased the prices of the electrified Nexon by Rs 25,000. Hereโ€™s a look at the latest prices: โ€“

2022 Tata Nexon EV Price List (All prices, ex-showroom, India)

As the above table indicate, all the variants of the Tata Nexon EV have received a uniform price hike of up to Rs 25,000. With this, the electric SUV now retails between Rs 14.54 lakh to Rs 17.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Currently, it is commanding a waiting period of around 6 months. 

Apart from the price revision, no other changes have been made to the Nexon EV. It will continue to be powered by the same 129PS permanent magnet synchronous motor, paired with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is claimed to offers an ARAI-tested range of 312km (real-world range is around 200 kilometers). The electric SUV will soon receive some cosmetical as well as mechanical and powertrain upgrades. If reports are to be believed, the facelifted Nexon EV is likely to offer a range of over 400 kilometers.
