Skoda Cars To Receive A Price Hike By 3 Percent From January 2022

Skoda Cars India has announced its first price hike for the year 2022. According to Zac Hollis, Skoda’s Director of Sales and Marketing, the automaker will increase the prices of its all models by up to 3 percent due to the rising input and operational costs. The exact price extension limit will be declared next month.

As of now, Skoda has four models in its Indian portfolio – Rapid, Kushaq, Octavia, and Superb. Their current prices are as follows: –

Skoda will soon replace the Rapid compact sedan with an all-new & premium Slavia mid-size sedan. It is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2022. Similar to the Kushaq SUV, the upcoming Skoda Slavia will also be based on the VW-Skoda’s highly localized MQB A0 IN platform. It is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Besides, the Czech automaker will also bring the facelifted Kodiaq SUV to our shores in early 2022, with subtle cosmetic changes and a new 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that will replace the older 2.0-liter TDI turbocharged diesel unit.
