Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gets Two New Customized Colours Options

The most beloved retro cruiser of the country, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets two new customized paint schemes: Metallo Silver and Orange Ember. The Chennai-based motorcycle maker introduced these colors to give the bike a fresh appearance. The model with these new paint scheme has been priced at Rs 1.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and it can also be booked through RE's Make It Yours 3D configurator, which allows to choose and customize the product with various accessories and colors choices.

Taking about the new colors, the Metallo Silver paint scheme seems to be inspired by the Triumph Street Twin. It features two vertical maroon-colored stripes on the silver-finished fuel tank and red tapes on the alloy wheels, whereas the engine and exhaust get chrome finishing.

The Orange Amber shade model sports half black & half orange dual-tone shades on the fuel tank. While the airbox & the rear fender comes completely painted in orange, the engine, exhaust, wheels and front fender receive contrast blacked-out treatment.

Besides these new ivories, the older paint options continue to be offered with the RE Classic 350. For starters, the dual-channel ABS model comes in 6 other color options apart from these newly added paint schemes, which include Gunmetal Grey (with alloy/spoke wheels), Sandstorm Sand, Chrome Black, Stealth Black (with alloy wheels), Airborne Blue, and Classic Black. On the other hand, the single-channel ABS model gets five color choices, including Ash, Mercury Silver, Chestnut Red, Redditch Red, and Pure Black.

Mechanically, no changes have been made to the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The motorcycle continues to be powered by the BS6-compliant 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled UCE engine that produces 19.3PS of maximum power and 28Nm of peak torque. A standard 5-speed gearbox takes care of the transmission duties.

As far as the underpinnings are concerned, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 uses a single-downtube steel frame in which the engine works as a stressed member. The chassis is suspended by a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shocks. It rolls on a 19/18-inch wheel setup with 90/90-section front and up to 120/80 rear section tires. All the variants with the single-channel ABS feature spoke wheels, while some of the dual-channel ABS trims get alloy wheels.
