Ford Endeavour: Does the price hike attract any changes?
Unfortunately not, Ford hasn't made any mechanical or features changes in the SUV. It continues to be powered by the same 2.0-litre EcoBlue turbocharged diesel engine that was introduced during the BS6 update in February 2020. This new diesel motor churn puts out 170PS of max power and 420Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox, which is first in the segment. It doesn't offer manual transmission like its core rival Toyota Fortuner.

Rivals & Price Comarison
In full-sized SUV segment, the Ford Endeavour lock horns with Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, and Isuzu MU-X. However, Isuzu hasn't yet upgraded the MU-X to compliant with the BS6 emission norms.
After this price hike, the Ford Endeavour still undercuts the segment leader- Toyota Fortuner by Rs 2.4 Lakhs, compared to its top TRD edition variant, which is the latest iteration in its lineup. While the Mahindra Alturas G4 (Rs 28.69 lakh to Rs 31.69 lakh) is significantly underpriced compared to both the cars.
