Like most Tata SUVs, the Sierra can now also be had in a stealthier Dark Edition version, with prices starting from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This blacked-out cosmetic package is available from the Pure L variant onwards, commanding a premium of around Rs 20,000 over their regular counterparts.

Tata Sierra Dark Edition – What’s Special?
Exterior
As the name suggests, the Sierra Dark Edition comes finished in an all-black scheme called Friesian Black. The dark treatment extends across the exterior, with the chrome garnishes replaced by blacked-out trims, giving the SUV a more understated and stealthy appearance. The SUV’s alloy wheels have also been finished in a dark shade to round out the overall appearance. Lastly, it gets ‘#DARK’ badging on the front fenders to denote its special nature.
Interior
The all-black theme carries forward inside the cabin as well. The SUV features an all-black cabin theme, with a textured finish on the dashboard and the door inserts. However, to add a touch of contrast, Tata has used violet metallic accents across the cabin, including the AC vent bezels, door handles, front armrest, front seatbacks, and more. The contrast theme is further carried over to the seats, which feature purple stitching.
Features Onboard
The Sierra Dark Edition variants retain all the amenities of their regular equivalent variants. That said, depending on the trim, you will get amenities like a triple-screen setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology with remote control functionality, a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring, auto headlamps & wipers, multiple driving modes, six airbags, front & rear parking sensors, hill assist, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
