The Renault Duster, which was discontinued in 2022, has finally made its comeback to the Indian market in an all-new avatar at a starting price of Rs 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in five variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic, across three engine options: 1L turbo-petrol, 1.3L turbo-petrol and 1.8L petrol with strong hybrid. - Bookings for the Renault Duster are already underway for a token amount of Rs 21,000.

2026 Renault Duster – Engine Options
As mentioned above, the Renault Duster is being offered with three engine options, comprising two turbocharged petrol and one strong-hybrid unit.
- The turbocharged units include a 100PS 1-litre unit from the Kiger and the segment’s most powerful 163PS 1.3-litre unit.
- The third engine option will be a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to an E-tech strong-hybrid system featuring two motors – a 49hp electric motor and a 20hp hybrid starter generator, powered by a 1.4kWh (280V) battery. The combined system output is rated at 160PS and 172Nm.

- Built on Renault’s new RGMP platform, the new Duster is 4343mm long, 1813mm wide and 1659mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2657mm, a ground clearance of 212mm, while the boot space is rated at 518 litres.
- It boasts an approach angle of 26.9 degrees and a departure angle of 34.7 degrees, making it capable of handling the rough terrains and steep inclines with ease.

Speaking of the design, the 2026 Duster boasts a butchy profile and boxy proportions, with aggressive design cues. It gets several styling changes compared to its global-spec trim. These include a large grille with bold “DUSTER” lettering, C-shaped taillights connected by an LED light bar, and a fighter jet-inspired cabin design with twin-connected displays.
