2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Spied Testing; Here’s What To Expect

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is due for a facelift update, and it is expected to bring subtle styling changes, modest interior enhancements and possibly additional safety features to help it stay competitive in the compact SUV segment. It is expected to be revealed in the first quarter of 2026.

2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift – Exterior Design

The 2026 Maruti Brezza is expected to get minor styling changes to the front and rear profiles of the SUV, along with freshly designed blacked-out alloy wheels. The LED headlamps may get a slimmer look, while the rear is likely to get a connecting LED bar. However, the overall proportions and silhouette of the SUV are expected to remain unchanged.

Interior Changes and New Features

While it is not official, we expect minor improvements inside the cabin of the new Brezza. It may get a different cabin theme and a soft-touch dashboard finish. New seat upholstery is also expected in the Brezza facelift.

Going by the stringent competition in the segment, the new Maruti Brezza is also likely to have a host of additional comfort & convenience features, including front ventilated seats, powered driver seat and a digital driver’s display.

Besides, features like automatic headlamps, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, wireless charger, electric sunroof, a head-up display (HUD), automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), etc., will be carried forward from the existing model.

Engine Options

We do not expect any changes underneath the hood. The Brezza will continue to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder DualJet DualVVT petrol engine (103PS/139Nm), which is known for its refinement and low maintenance. Transmission options include 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic units.

A factory-fitted CNG kit will also be on the cards.

Rivals

The forthcoming facelift update will make the Brezza stay competitive against the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, Skoda Kylaq, and Nissan Magnite.
