Kia India is all set to unveil the next-gen Seltos on December 10, 2025. The teaser of the upcoming SUV has given us a decent idea of what the SUV look like from the outside. And now, some leaked images of the SUV have surfaced on the web, revealing its new design and features.
New Kia Seltos: Refreshed Interior and New Features
The new Kia Seltos features a complete design overhaul, featuring a layered dashboard design boasting a dual-tone black & cream cabin theme. It features a new and larger connected screen setup from the Syros, along with a new 3-spoke steering wheel from the Kia EV6. This new screen setup is likely to feature a small 5-inch unit between the infotainment and instrument cluster displays for the climate control.
Below the touchscreen unit, one can notice some physical controls for the infotainment, along with scroll-type controls for the volume. Beneath it, there are the controls for the climate control system, multiple charging ports and a wireless charging pad for your smartphone. What’s more noticeable are the ambient lighting strips along the dashboard and door trims, enhancing the premium quotient of the SUV.
While it’s not official, the 2026 Seltos is expected to get new amenities like a powered co-passenger seat, rear ventilated seats with slide function, rear retractable parcel tray, and an augmented reality heads-up display.

Bolder Styling
The earlier teased images reveal new exterior bits like a rectangular grille, a new split headlamp setup with vertical LED strips, flush-fitting door handles, and aero-optimised alloy wheels, giving it a more bold and futuristic appearance. Head here for more details.
2026 Kia Seltos: Engine Options
The new-gen Kia Seltos is expected to retain the ongoing engine options, comprising a 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. However, rumours suggest that the diesel mill is expected to receive a new 7-speed torque converter automatic unit, replacing the aged 6-speed unit.
Launch Timeline and Competition Check
Kia is expected to announce the prices of the next-gen Seltos in January 2026. Once launched, the SUV continues to go up against the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Victoris and Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and the recently launched Tata Sierra.
