Tata Motors has once again teased the upcoming Altroz Facelift, this time revealing the interior of the upgraded hatch, along with some new feature additions. The 2025 Altroz is expected to be launched on May 22, 2025.
2025 Tata Altroz — Revamped Dashboard; New Features
For 2025, Tata Motors has slightly revamped the styling of the dashboard. It now features a huge expanse of gloss black trim on it, along with a white colour ambient lighting, instead of blue in the pre-facelift model. Furthermore, the climate control panel has also been changed, now borrowing a touch-based unit from the Tata Punch. It also gets a new segment-first 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, a 2-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, and new beige coloured seats.

While it retains the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment from the existing model, it now receives a 360-degree surround view system and a voice-assisted electric sunroof. While it’s not official, we expect the facelift Altroz to also get ventilated front seats. However, what disappointing is that it still misses the auto-dimming IRVM.
Besides, features like wireless charger, auto AC, rear AC vents, cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat, powered ORVMs, push button start/stop, multiple driving modes, etc., will be carried forward from the existing model.
Refreshed Exterior

As teased earlier, the 2025 Tata Altroz will get a refreshed facia, featuring a sleeker grille, flanked by new LED headlamps. The updated hatch will also get redesigned bumpers at both ends, segment-first flush-fitting smart door handles, new 5-spoke machine-cut alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps.
Expected Engine Options
We do not expect any changes underneath the hood. It is likely to retain all the existing engine options with their respective transmission options, details of which are mentioned below: –
Engine | 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol | 1.2-litre petrol with factory-fitted CNG kit | 1.5-litre diesel |
Max Power | 88 PS | 73.5 PS | 90 PS |
Peak Torque | 115 Nm | 103 Nm | 200 Nm |
Transmission | 5 Speed MT / 6 Speed DCT | 5-speed MT | 5-speed MT |
Expected Price and Competition
The upgraded Altroz will certainly carry a substantial premium over the existing model, which is currently priced from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to go up against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20.
