Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition – What’s Special?

  • All-Black Look: The Magnite Kuro stands out with a glossy black body, blacked-out grille, 16-inch black alloy wheels, roof rails, door handles, and skid plates. Even the LED headlights have a dark tint for a more aggressive style.
  • More Choices: Unlike the previous Magnite Kuro, which was only available on the top variant and with a turbo engine, the 2025 Magnite Kuro can be had with both naturally aspirated (NA) and turbo-petrol engines, as well as four gearbox options (manual, AMT, and CVT).
  • Upgraded Features: Over the N-Connecta variant it’s based on, the Kuro gets a new wireless phone charger and a dash cam for added convenience and safety, along with blacked-out interior bits like dashboard, gear lever, steering, etc.
  • New Colours: A new Metallic Grey exterior paint has also been introduced for several other Magnite variants (N-Connecta, Tekna, Tekna+).

Compared to the higher-spec trims, the Kuro misses out on a cooled glove box, remote engine start (available only on the turbo variants in higher trims), automatic LED projector headlights, a 360-degree camera system, front fog lights, and cruise control.

Powertrain Choices

The 2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro edition offers a choice of two engine options: a 72hp 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 100hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, each available with multiple gearbox options including a 5-speed manual, AMT for the NA variant, and a 5-speed manual or CVT for the turbo variant.

Rivals

The Magnite takes on the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Kia Sonet.
