For those unaware, the Shine 100DX is a premium version of the standard Shine 100 and commands a premium of Rs 6,097 over it.

While it retains the same 98.98cc engine producing 7.4PS and 8.05Nm, the Shine 100 DX stands out with visual enhancements like fresh colour schemes, chrome accents on the headlight and exhaust, and a subtle Honda logo. Functional upgrades include a side-stand engine cut-off, a rear suspension with 5-step preload adjustment, and a new LCD instrument cluster that shows real-time mileage.

It goes up against the Hero HF Deluxe Pro, Bajaj Platina and TVS Sport.

Positioned above the SP125 in Honda’s lineup, the all-new CB125 Hornet is designed to cater to young, style-conscious riders who want both performance and tech in a commuter motorcycle. Built around a completely new chassis, the bike shares its engine base with the SP125 but has been tuned for slightly more performance, producing 11.14PS and 11.2Nm. Honda claims it can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.6 seconds—among the quickest in its class.

Aesthetically, the CB125 Hornet makes a bold statement with its aggressive styling. From a sculpted, muscular fuel tank to sharp body lines and an edgy LED headlamp with integrated position lamps, everything on the bike screams sportiness. Additional touches like a key-mounted fuel tank, split seat, sporty grab rails, engine guard, and colour-matched alloy wheels reinforce its youthful appeal. The golden upside-down forks (USD) up front not only enhance ride quality but also add a premium touch rarely seen in this segment.

Tech-savvy riders will also appreciate the 4.2-inch colour TFT console with Honda RoadSync support. This system brings features like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, real-time mileage readout, and distance-to-empty right to the screen. It also comes equipped with a USB Type-C charging port and full-LED lighting for added convenience.

For braking, the CB125 Hornet uses a front petal disc and rear drum setup, supported by a single-channel ABS system for added safety.

Honda has offered it in four vibrant and youthful colour options — Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Black, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red.
