2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 and 400 Launched

Bajaj Auto has updated the Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 for the Indian market, with both motorcycles receiving new features and ergonomic revisions. With this, the 2025 Dominar 250 is now priced at Rs 1,91,654 (Rs 5,158 more expensive than before), while the Dominar 400 costs Rs 2,38,682 (Rs 6,026 costlier than before).

Both prices, ex-showroom Delhi.

What’s New

2025 Bajaj Dominar 400

  • To start with, Bajaj has equipped the upgraded Dominar 400 with a new digital cluster, borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z. It features a split display setup and gets smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.
  • Another major change comes in the form of a ride-by-wire throttle technology, replacing the earlier cable-operated system.
  • The above addition not only offers more precise throttle response but also enables the inclusion of advanced riding aids like switchable traction control and four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road. In Sport and Off-road modes, you can also turn off traction control.
  • The riding modes adjust the power delivery and the ABS intervention.
  • Furthermore, Bajaj has also introduced a redesigned handlebar for better comfort and a revised left-hand switchgear to navigate through the new console.
  • The bike has also been updated to meet the new OBD-2B compliance. However, the engine output remains the same. Its 373.5cc, liquid-cooled engine continues to produce 40PS and 35Nm.
  • A new Canyon Red shade has also been added to its colour palette.

  • Like the Dominar 400, its younger sibling also receives a switchable traction control system and four ABS modes: Road, Rain, Sport and Off-road.
  • The bike also gets a new LCD instrument cluster (borrowed from the Pulsar NS200), which supports smartphone connectivity with SMS/call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation assist.
  • This 250cc cruiser now also gets an OBD-2B compliant 248.77cc liquid-cooled engine. However, it still produces 27PS at 8500 rpm and 23.5Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm.
