2024 KTM 200 Duke – What’s New?

To begin with, the upgraded KTM 200 Duke gets a new 5-inch TFT cluster and 4-way menu switchgear mounted on the left handle to navigation through the instrument cluster. The new console offers smartphone connectivity via the KTM connect app that brings new features like turn-by-turn navigation and display modes with dark and orange themes. It also gets call/SMS alerts, headset pairing support and a switchable Supermoto ABS.

KTM has also introduced a new Metallic Silver colour scheme, offered with the existing Electric Orange and Dark Galvano shades.

Aside from the above-mentioned changes, the bike remains unchanged. It continues to draw its power from the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 25PS at 10,000 rpm and 19.3Nm at 8,000 rpm. This engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The underpinnings of the bike also remain the same, comprising a 43mm WP Apex fork, a 10-step preload adjustable monoshock, 17-inch alloys, a 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS. The bike has a ground clearance of 155mm, a seat height of 822mm and a kerb weight of 159kg.

In the Indian market, the KTM 200 Duke competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and Hero Karizma XMR.
