2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Leaked

The Tata Nexon facelift had been caught on camera multiple times, revealing crucial details about its exterior design. However, this time, a clear image of its interior has been leaked online.

A Revamped Dashboard Layout

  • The leaked image reveals influential changes to its dashboard layout, giving it a cleaner look. It also seems to feature a new texture finish.
  • The facelifted SUV sports restyled AC vents and a new 10.25-inch touchscreen unit, which was recently introduced in the Nexon EV MAX. Below is the new climate control setup with haptic controls.
  • Other notable additions are the all-digital instrument cluster and Tata Avinya-inspired 4-spoke steering wheel with haptic controls and a display in the centre which is likely to feature an illuminated Tata logo and additional driving-related information.
  • Keen eyes could also notice a rotary dial on the centre console, probably for the driving modes. It is likely to feature a display similar to the one on Nexon EV Max.

Expected Features

  • The current version of the Tata Nexon is already a well-loaded machine. With the facelift update, there’s a possibility that it will receive ventilated front seats, electronic stability control and up to six airbags.
  • Tata is also expected to equip the upcoming Nexon with some advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Powertrains

The facelifted Nexon will most likely retain the ongoing 1.5-litre diesel engine that comes with a 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. However, the existing turbocharged petrol engine is likely to be replaced by a new & more powerful 110PS 1.2-litre unit. It is also expected to get a more sophisticated dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Expected Launch, Price And Rivals

The facelifted Tata Nexon is likely to be launched around the festive season. Expect it to command a substantial premium over its current model, which costs between Rs 8 – 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom).

In the sub-4m SUV segment, it will retain its rivalry with the Kia Seltos, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
