2023 Jawa 42 Bobber Teased; Launch Soon

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle has teased the 2023 edition of the 42 Bobber, which is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. The bike is likely to undergo minor cosmetic and feature changes.

2023 Jawa 42 Bobber – What Do The Teaser Reveal?

  • The latest teaser showcases the bike’s rear section, which now features multi-spoke alloy wheels, replacing the ongoing wire-spoked wheels.
  • One can also see the single-piece saddle, side panel with the “42 Bobber” decal, and long rear fender with the LED tail light and indicators mounted on it. However, all these elements look familiar to the ongoing model.

Other Expectations

Apart from the new alloy wheels, we expect Jawa to also throw some new colour schemes for a refreshed appeal. It would also be highly appreciated if Jawa introduced smartphone connectivity support.

Engine

We don’t expect any mechanical changes. It should continue with the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29.92PS of max power and 32.74Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Expected Price and Rivals

Expect the 2023 Jawa 42 Bobber to command a slight premium over the current model, which retails at Rs 2,15,187 (ex-showroom Delhi).

In the Indian market, the Jawa 42 Bobber doesn’t have any direct rival. However, it can be seen as an alternative to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (Rs 2.03 – 2.26 lakh), Honda H’ness CB350 (Rs 2.10 – 2.15 lakh), and Yezdi Roadster (Rs 2.06 – 2.13 lakh).
