2023 Hyundai Aura Facelift – What’s New?

Starting with the exterior, the new split grille layout gives the facelifted Hyundai Aura a tough look at the front. In the lower part of the grille, LED DRLs are mounted, while the side profile and rear remain unchanged.

Inside, the dashboard layout remains untouched, adorned by the same dual-tone colour scheme as earlier. However, it gets a new light grey seat upholstery and ‘Aura’ badging on the headrest. The biggest change, however, comes in the form of enhanced safety and creature comfort. The addition includes: –

  • A new analogue instrument cluster with a 3.5-inch multi-information display (MID)
  • Footwell illumination
  • Automatic headlamps
  • USB type-C chargers
  • Up to six airbags (four airbags standard)
  • Electronic stability control
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
  • Hill hold assist

Hyundai hasn’t made any changes underneath the hood. However, the facelifted Aura now only gets the 83PS/113Nm 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, offered with a 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options. Its manual trim can be had with a factory-fitted CNG kit that produces 69PS and 95Nm. The turbocharged petrol engine hasn’t been introduced for now.

With the mid-life facelift update, the Hyundai Aura has become a more competitive offering against the Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze.
