2023 Honda CB300F Launched; Gets A Huge Price Cut Of Rs 59,000

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the BS6 Phase-2 compliant version of the CB300F streetfighter at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It will now be offered solely in the Deluxe Pro variant, with a staggering price reduction of Rs 59,000 compared to its original launch price in August 2022.

  • Powering the 2023 Honda CB300F is the same 293.52cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 24PS and 25.6Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-&-assist clutch that enables quick shift and prevents rear wheel locking during hard deceleration and downshifting.
  • The bike is based on a diamond-type frame, suspended on a gold-finished USD fork and a 5-step preload adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by 276mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes, assisted by dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).
  • It also comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which is basically a traction control system that ensures optimum traction in all situations.

  • The other notable features of the 2023 Honda CB300F include an all-LED lighting system, hazard lamps, a C-type USB charging port, a split seat, and a 5-inch digital instrument cluster with 5-levels of brightness adjustment and Bluetooth-enabled smartphone connectivity support with call/message alerts, music control and navigation assists. It can also be controlled by a handle-mounted switch unit supported by voice prompts.
  • Honda provides the CB300F in three colour options – SPORTS RED, MAT MARVEL BLUE METALLIC, and MAT AXIS GREY METALLIC.
  • Speaking of the dimensions, the CB300F possesses a ground clearance of 177mm and has an accessible seat height of 789mm. It tips the weight scale at 153kg.
  • Chief competitors of the Honda CB300F include the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha FZ 25, KTM 200 Duke, and the Bajaj Dominar 250.
