The new-generation Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has spied one again fully undisguised, this time for a commercial video shoot, implying its launch is just around the corner.

New-gen Vitara Brezza – What do the latest spy shots reveal?
The latest spy images clearly reveal the exterior design of the SUV. It will feature a new blacked-out grille with chrome inserts flanked by twin-pod LED headlamps integrated with L-shaped daytime running lamps. Its redesigned dual-tone bumper now gets a more chunkier-looking faux skid plate, providing it a sportier appeal.
Yes, the new Brezza retains its boxy silhouette, but its more prominent body cladding, new dual-tone alloys, chunkier roof rails, and noticeably wider C-pillar imparts a more robust appearance.
As revealed by the earlier leaked images, the new will sport a new sculpted tailgate with the ‘B R E Z Z A’ inscription between the newly designed wrap-around LED taillights.

The most significant update will be seen inside the cabin in the form of a new layered dashboard layout with a floating touchscreen infotainment system taking center stage. It is also expected to get a host of new comfort & safety features such as more advanced connected car technology, paddle shifters, an updated instrument cluster with bigger dials and a colored multi-info display, an Arkamys-tuned sound system, electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, up to 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold/descent control, tire pressure monitoring system, and much more.
Engine and Transmission
Powering the new Vitara Brezza will be the 103PS/137Nm 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine that recently debuted in the new Ertiga and XL6. It comes mated to a 12-volt mild-hybrid system and idle start/stop technology that provides torque assist and ensures optimum fuel efficiency.
Speaking of the transmission options, the upgraded Maruti Vitara Brezza will retain its ongoing 5-speed manual unit, while the 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission will be replaced with a new 6-speed unit.
Maruti is also expected to offer the new-gen Brezza with a CNG powertrain at a later stage.
Expected Price and Competitors
The new Vitara Brezza is expected to command a significant price premium over its ongoing model, which retails between Rs 7.84 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In the Indian market, it will continue to lock horns with the Kia Sonet, soon-to-be updated Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
