Revealed by the images, the new Creta will feature Hyundai’s latest version of the cascading grille, flanked by the new parametric jewel hidden-type daytime running lamps that seem to be a part of the grille. This, along with vertically stacked headlamps will remind you of the new-generation Tucson SUV. Furthermore, it also features newly designed bumpers with a large air dam and silver treatment that further distinguish it front the existing model. Changes on the side are restricted to the new alloy wheels.

At the back, the facelifted Creta will receive slightly tweaked LED tail lamps, revised boot gate, and reprofiled bumper with black & silver treatment on the lower section. Also, it now misses out on the LED light bar, positioned between the tail lamps on the existing model.

Inside the cabin, there is no significant change except for the new 10.25-inch digital driver’s display that has been sourced from the 6/7-seater Alcazar. Additionally, it will also get ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) that includes active safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.

The other notable features of the new Hyundai Creta facelift will comprise a touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connected car tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium Bose sound system, keyless entry with push-button start, a panoramic sunroof, auto climate control with rear AC vents, cooled glove box, ventilated front seats, powered driver's seat, in-built air purifier, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, and much more.

Passengers’ safety should be obtained by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control.

While the technical specifications of the facelifted Creta are yet to be revealed, but its India-spec model should retain the ongoing 1.4-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine options. However, it could receive a 6-speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT) option for its 1.5-liter mills, along with the existing gearbox units.

Hyundai is expected to bring the facelifted Creta to our shores by mid-2022.
