Mercedes-Benz offers the GLA with three engine options. The first variant comes with a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology that develops 165PS/250Nm. It transmits all the power to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. On the other hand, the 220d variants get a 2.0-litre turbo diesel motor churning out 192PS/400Nm, whereas the sportier 35 AMG 4MATIC trim comes with a 2.0-litre petrol mill that generates a whopping power output of 310PS and a peak torque of 400Nm. While both these engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, it’s the 35 AMG that drives all four wheels. The 220d variants get both front-wheel drive as well as all-wheel drive choices.

The 2021 GLA’s highlights are it's new muscular styling, bigger dimensions and updated features list.
