2021 Hyundai Creta 7-Seater Interior Spied

Hyundai Motors is gearing up to launch its first 7-seater utility vehicle in the Indian market in the form of a three-row version of the Creta SUV. It is likely to be known as Hyundai Alcazar. It has been spied testing multiple times on the Indian roads and the latest spy images show some portions of its interior.

Going by the spy shot, the Hyundai Alcazar's interior is expected to be similar to the 5-seater Creta. It is likely to retain the 10.25-inch infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument display, and auto-dimming IRVM with BlueLink's hotkeys. However, it could feature a distinctive cabin theme to distinguish between the two SUVs. Further, it could also be offered in both 6-seat and 7-seater configurations.

On the outside, the 7-seater Hyundai Creta could receive some design changes so that it can get its own identity. It is likely to receive a redesigned front grille, longer rear overhang, flatter roofline, different set of alloy wheels, and updated tail section with new taillamps.

Under the hood, the three-row Creta is expected to carry the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (140PS/242Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm) engines from its 5-seater version. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is unlikely to make its way to the Alcazar. Both engines are expected to get manual and automatic transmission options.

Except 7-seater Creta to be launched by mid-2021. In terms of pricing, it could demand a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the current 5-seater model that retails from Rs 9.82 lakh to Rs 17.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Once launched, it will be positioned against the likes of MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV500, and Tata Safari.
