Just days after spotting the new XPulse 200 4V on the roads, it has now been caught at a dealer briefing event, implying the launch may not be far away. Alongside the updated ADV, the brand also has plans to launch a Stealth Edition of the Xtreme 160R.
The most significant update on the 2021 XPulse 200 will be the 4-valve head for its 199.6cc single-cylinder oil-cooled motor that will technically help it to breathe better at high RPMs, which will eventually lead to better top-end performance, thus aiding in the XPulse 200’s touring capabilities.
Another update comes in the form of a new dual-tone paint scheme along with refreshed graphics. Reports are also suggesting that Hero has also updated the switchgear of the bike. It will now feature a starter button integrated into the engine kill switch. Besides, it is also expected to get a new variant which will get Rally Kit as standard fitment straight from the factory.
With all these changes, the new Hero XPulse 200 4V is expected to command a decent premium over the ongoing model, which retails from Rs 1,20,800 to Rs 1,23,150 (ex-showroom Delhi), whereas the new Rally Kit version could be priced near around Rs 1.60 lakh.
Talking about the Stealth Edition of the Xtreme 160R, it will get only an all-black paint scheme that is expected to demand roughly Rs 2,000 – 3,000 extra over the standard double-disc variant, which costs Rs 1,14,660 (ex-showroom).
