Volkswagen Polo Gets A New Legend Edition Before Discontinuation

  • The new Polo Legend Edition costs the same as the regular GT variant.
  • Will be available in limited units.
  • Features body decals, ‘Legend’ badging, trunk garnish, and blacked-out spoiler, roof, & ORVMs.
  • Features onboard include touchscreen infotainment, cruise control, auto wipers, climate control with rear AC vents, etc.
  • Powered by the 110PS 1.0-litre TSI petrol mill, with a 6-speed automatic transmission. 

To commemorate 12 years of the Volkswagen Polo in India, the German carmaker has launched a new Polo Legend Edition at Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Limited to 700 units, this special edition comes with some cosmetic enhancement and praises the hot hatch’s fantastic journey in our country, which is going to be end soon. So hurry up, as it will be your last chance to bring this German offering home.

Volkswagen Polo Legend Edition – What’s New?

Based on the top-spec GT TSI variant, the Volkswagen Polo Legend Edition gets side body graphics, dual-tone paint finish, black trunk garnish, and the obvious “Legend” badges on the fender & boot lid.

Since it is based on the VW Polo’s top-of-the-line variant, it comes loaded with all the bells & whistles such as 16-inch alloy wheels, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, electrochromic IRVM, dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and much more.

Powering the VW Polo GT Legend Edition is the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, TSI turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 110PS and 175Nm, paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. For your kind information, the other variants of the hatch also come with manual gearbox and 75PS/95Nm 1.0-litre MPI petrol engine options.
