Tata Punch Micro-SUV: More Exterior And Interior Real Life Images Leaked

The upcoming Tata Punch has started reaching dealerships ahead of its possible launch in the first half of October 2021. Bookings for the micro-SUV are already underway at the dealership level. While the brand is yet to share its interior officially, we have recently shown you its dashboard images. Now, more interior and interior images of the Tata Punch have surfaced on the webs.

Going by the latest images, the Tata Punch will get a dual-tone grey-&-white cabin scheme along with dark grey fabric upholstery. Unlike the previous spy shots, this particular model doesn't have a blue color accent around the air-con vents, which suggests that the color-coded panels could be limited to its turbocharged model.

As for features, we can see the flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control panel, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system (all borrowed from the Tata Altroz premium hatchback). However, the front armrest and rear AC vents seem to be missing.

The other striking features of the Tata Punch will include a split-headlamp setup with LED DRLs, tri-arrow shaped tail lamps, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, cruise control, Apple Carplay and Android Auto smartphone integration support for the infotainment system, multiple driving & terrain response modes, rear parcel tray, and possibly the iRA connected car technology.

Passenger safety should be taken care of by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, hill start assist, ISOFIX child seat anchorages. electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors with a rear-view camera.

Expect the new Tata Punch SUV to be powered by Altroz's 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engines. While the former generates 86PS and 113Nm, the latter is proficient enough in producing 110PS and 140Nm. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual and AMT.

Tata is likely to price the Tata Punch from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the Mahindra KUV100 NXT and Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
