Simple Dot One Electric Scooter Launched โ€“ Price, Specs and Range

Simple Energy has launched the Dot One electric scooter at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially, it was introduced at a special introductory price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for pre-bookings in Bangalore; the company has now revealed that nationwide pre-bookings will commence on January 27, 2024 at a token amount of Rs 1,947.

Note: Existing customers planning to switch from Simple One to the Dot One electric scooter can secure exclusive bookings starting from January 1, 2024.

Simple Dot One โ€“ Design and Features

The Simple Dot One shares a resemblance with its elder sibling, featuring sharp cuts & creases and angular bodypanels. It gets conventional telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, suspended on 12-inch wheels at both ends.

Regarding features, Simple Energy has equppied this new electric scooter with features like all-LED lighting system, disc brake setup, a touchscreen cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, multiple riding modes (Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic), and reverse assist. It also gets an 35-litres of underseat storage.

Simple Dot One โ€“ Colour Options

Simple is offering the Dot One electric scooter in four colour options: Namma Red, Grace White, Brazen Black, and Azure Blue. The company also offers BrazenX and LightX for customers looking for personalisation.

Simple Dot One โ€“ Battery, Charging Time and Range

Powering the Simple Dot One is a 3.7kWh battery pack that powers an 8.5kW electrc motor with a peak torque output of 72Nm, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds before hitting a top speed of 105 kmph. It claims a range of 151 kilometers on a single charge.
