Royal Enfield To Launch Seven New 650cc Bikes – Bullet, Classic and Himalayan 650

At a recent investor presentation, Royal Enfield revealed that it would launch a range of new bikes, based on its 450cc and 650cc platforms. This latest batch of premium motorcycles includes the recently unveiled Super Meteor 650, as well as six other intriguing models. And going the silhouettes of the bikes, these could include the Shotgun 650, Classic 650, Bullet 650, Himalayan 650, Scrambler 650, and a sportier version of the Continental GT 650 in retro racing attire.

Already spied on numerous times, the 650cc Royal Enfield Shotgun will be a bobber-styled motorcycle, based on the SG650 concept showcased last year at the EICMA. It is expected to make its India debut in the second half of 2023.

The Himalayan 650, however, caught our attention the most. It could be a more touring-centric adventure motorcycle, whereas the Scrambler 650 could be its more affordable version. Both motorcycles will also be available in a 450cc avatar. They are likely to be launched in late 2024 or in early 2025.

We are also quite impressed by the prospect of the Bullet 650 and the Classic 650. While it’s not official, they could maintain their affordability quotient in the 650cc category as well.

Royal Enfield Continental GT R65

Speaking of the sportier version of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, it seems inspired by the retro-racing GT-R650s that Royal Enfield runs in its Continental GT 650 Cup. It has already been spied testing on public roads and is likely to feature Monza fairing and remote adjusters for its twin shocks.

These new motorcycles will also be launched in various other markets, including Europe. Expect more details about these upcoming Royal Enfield bikes to be revealed in the near future. So, stay tuned with us.
