Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 – What Do We Know So Far?

  • Royal Enfield has recently teased the Himalayan 452 on its social media platform, revealing side-laced or cross-laced spoked rims, which could support the bike to run on tubeless tyres.
  • Compared to the existing Himalayan, its new iteration will recieve an all-LED lighting system, a new single-pod TFT colour display, a new fuel tank design with revised braces, a long-travel USD fork, a preload swingarm-mounted rear monoshock, and a wide range of touring accessories.
  • The new Himalayan is also predicted to be underpinned by the brand’s new K1 double-cradle platform.
  • It is expected to be powered by a new 451.65 cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 40 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm. That’s 15.7 PS more than the ongoing 411cc Himalayan. It could also receive a new 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
  • The bike will measure 2,245mm in length, with a wheelbase of 1,510mm and a gross weight of 394 kg.
