Revolt RV400 Electric Bike Bookings To Reopen On July 15

Revolt Motors will re-open the online bookings for the RV400 electric bike from 15th July at 12 pm onwards. Prospective buyers can register themselves on Revolt's website for notification of the commencement of bookings. Earlier, the bookings for the flagship Revolt EV were opened on 18th June, and all allotted units were sold in less than 2 hours. Deliveries of the previous bookings lot have been commenced now.

Currently, the Revolt RV400 is only available in six cities – Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune. The brand is also planning to expand its dealership and service network across 35 cities in India.

Powering the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle is a 3kW mid-drive electric motor that draws its charge from a 72V lithium-ion swappable battery pack and transfers the power to the rear-wheel via a chain drive. The bike comes with three riding modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport. It is claimed to deliver a maximum riding range of 150km in Eco mode, 100km in Normal mode, and 80km in Sport mode with a top speed of 85km/h. It takes roughly 4.5 hours to charge from 0-100% with a 15V AC charger.

The Revolt RV400 packs a whole lot of features. In fact, it is India’s first artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled motorcycle, featuring an embedded 4G LTE SIM and a connected app suite that will let you access many connected features such as remote start functionality, real-time motorcycle statistics & diagnostics, bike locator, ECU updates through OTA, satellite navigation, geo-fence with theft protection for the bike's security, online payment gateway, order a battery online, find the nearest battery-swapping station ('Revolt Switch'), and more.

The other notable features of the RV400 include four artificial exhaust sounds, a digital instrument cluster, an all-LED lighting system, upside-down forks, a preload-adjustable monoshock, Combined Braking System (CBS), etc.

Revolt RV400 specifications

Thanks to the revised Fame II subsidy scheme, the Revolt RV 400 now costs Rs 90,799 (ex-showroom) in Delhi, and Rs 1,06,999 (ex-showroom) in the rest of the cities, making it Rs 28,201 less expensive than earlier. With this, it is even cheaper than the Ather 450 twins, TVS iQube, and the Bajaj Chetak. It will soon face competition from the upcoming Okinawa Oki100 e-bike.
