Skoda Kushaq has finally entered into the 5-seater compact SUV segment at prices ranging from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 17.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in three trims (Active, Ambition, and Style), the Czech automaker has offered it with two engines and three gearbox choices. Conclusion – The base variant of the Kushaq is decently equipped. If you are tight on your budget and truly desire the new Kushaq, the Active variant will be good for you. However, if you can push your budget to some extent, we suggest you look for the next variant.

Conclusion – Compared to the entry-level Active variant, this trim is approximately Rs 2.3 lakh more expensive. And the premium is totally justified. Also, if you are looking for a 1.0-liter petrol-automatic variant, this variant is the base model and it’s beautifully loaded for that.

Conclusion – The top-end Style variant is the only model in Kushaq’s line-up that comes with a more powerful 1.5-liter engine with an optional dual-clutch automatic gearbox to quench the thirst of enthusiastic buyers. It will also indulge you with leatherette upholstery in the cabin and several premium features. However, it is disappointing to see that Skoda has offered additional airbags only with the manual-gearbox-equipped variants.
