Soon after updating the Magnite with more safety features, the carmaker has now increased its prices by up to Rs 20,000. With this, it now ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • For those who aren’t aware, Nissan offers the Magnite with 72PS 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 100PS 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engines.
  • Both motors now comply with Bharat Stage-6 Phase II (RDE) emission norms.
  • The transmission choices include a 5-speed manual unit as standard and CVT automatic for the turbocharged mill.
  • It rivals the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, and Renault Kiger.
  • Despite the price hike, the Nissan Magnite is still the most affordable SUV in its class, undercutting the Renault Kiger by up to Rs 50,000.
