MG ZS EV Getting 1,000 Bookings Per Month, Sales Cross 5K Units Mark

MG Motors India has revealed that its ZS EV has crossed the 5,000 units sales mark in India since its launch in January 2020. The brand has also proclaimed that the electrified SUV is getting around 1,000 bookings per month.

For those who aren’t aware, MG Motors updated the ZS EV in March this year, with a host of design, features, and powertrain changes. That said, it now comes with a 50.3kWh battery pack instead of the earlier 44.5kWh unit and offers a claimed range of 461 kilometers on a single charge. That’s 42 kilometers more than its pre-facelift model and 24 kilometers more than the Tata Nexon EV MAX.

Not only the bigger battery pack, but the SUV also received a more powerful electric motor that churns out 176PS of a maximum grunt than the previous model’s 143PS figure.
