Maruti Jimny vs Mahindra Thar Price Comparison

The automatic variants of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny are priced more or less on par with the petrol-manual variants of the Mahindra Thar.
The Jimny is up to Rs 2.19 lakh more expensive than the Thar RWD diesel variants.
Both the variants of the Jimny are better loaded than the AX (O) and LX variants of the Thar. However, the Mahindra SUV is more powerful and torquey than the Jimny. Click here for a complete specification and feature comparison.
Buyers can also opt the Thar with the bigger 2.2-litre diesel engine that starts from Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom), asking up to Rs 1.7 lakh more than the Jimny’s base Alpha petrol-manual trim.
