BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition Launched In India

In order to take advantage of the ongoing festive season, BMW India has launched the locally produced Iconic Edition of the 3 Series Gran Limousine. It is available in both petrol and diesel variants. Their ex-showroom prices are as follows: –

Compared to the standard model, the Iconic Edition is Rs 1 lakh more expensive. For this price premium, it gets a glowing kidney grille as standard that lets off a blue shade. On the inside, the car comes with a Cognac/ Black 'Vernasca' leather upholstery. However, the biggest highlight here is the crystal gearshift knob with an illuminated "3" model logo, which gives it a more premium appeal. Additionally, it also gets rear seat headrest cushions for added comfort and a coat Hanger with a base carrier.

The other notable features of the 3 Series Iconic Edition include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, three-zone automatic climate control with active carbon filters, automatic tail-gate operation, head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, a 360-degree camera, parking assist with reverse assist, paddle shifters, cruise control with braking function, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto along with gesture control function for the infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, BMW Virtual Assistant, and Harman Kardon Surround Sound system with 16 loudspeakers, etc. Its cabin also comes with optimised acoustic properties that decrease noise levels and make the journey peaceful.

It is offered in three metallic paintworks options – Mineral White, Carbon Black, and Cashmere Silver. 

Powering the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition is either a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol (258PS/ 400Nm) or a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine (190PS/400Nm), mated to an 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission. It also gets Launch Control along with four driving modes – ECO PRO, Comfort, Sport and Sport+.
