Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the extremely-awaited second-gen Celerio today, with prices ranging from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has offered the upgraded compact hatchback with a new 1.0-litre DualJet Dual-VVT (Variable Valve Timing) petrol engine that features segment-first Idle Start-Stop function and cooled EGR. With all these new technologies, Maruti Suzuki claims that the new Celerio is the most fuel-efficient petrol car in India, offering a mileage of up to 26.68kmpl.

The all-new Celerior claims to return the best fuel efficiency among all. In fact, it is the only hatchback that crosses the 26kmpl mark. The Tata Tiago is the second most fuel-efficient car here.
