You Can Now Book The 2025 Kia Carens Clavis EV

Kia India has started accepting bookings for the Carens Clavis EV for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Interested customers can reserve one for themselves either online or at their nearest Kia dealership. Prices for the Clavis EV range between Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • The Carens Clavis EV is sold alongside its ICE version.
  • It is the brand’s third electric offering in the country, after EV6 and EV9.
  • Kia has offered it only in a 7-seater layout.
  • It can be seen as an affordable alternative to the BYD eMAX 7, which ranges between Rs 26.90-29.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Carens Clavis EV: Range, Battery and Charging Time

As mentioned above, the Carens Clavis EV comes in three variants and two battery pack options: a 42kWh and a 51.4 kWh. Both are powered by a single front-axle mounted electric motor, making up to 171PS of max power and 255Nm of peak torque. This enabled it to complete the century sprint in simply 8.1 seconds.

It can be charged from 10 to 80% in 39 minutes using a 100kW DC charger.

It also supports up to 100kW DC fast charging that can juice up the battery pack from 10 to 80% in just 39 minutes.
