Mahindra-owned Classic Legends is going to revitalize yet another iconic two-wheeler brand in India, the Yezdi Motorcycles. The company has released the teaser of its upcoming bike that is likely to belong to the scrambler segment. According to a recent trademark filing, the upcoming Yezdi motorcycle could be named the 'Roadking'. When launched, it will go up against the Honda CB350 RS and Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

While the bikemaker is yet to share any details, we already know a bit about the upcoming product, thanks to the multiple spy shots. It is likely to come with retro-styling elements which include a rounded headlamp, a taller handlebar, elevated ribbed seat, highly positioned shocks, fork gaiters, and a rear tyre hugger that will also house the number plate. It will also get an old-school twin exhaust setup with short tailpipes and canister. The bike will ride on wired-spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. Disc brakes on both ends will bring the bike to the halt. Dual-channel ABS is likely to be offered as standard.
The Yezdi Roadking is likely to utilize the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the Jawa Perak. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-&-assist clutch and produces 30PS of maximum power and 33Nm of peak torque.
Yezdi is also working on cruiser and adventure tourer bikes. The Yezdi ADV will look quite similar to the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
