Yamaha YZF-R15 V4 Vs R15M Vs MotoGP Edition: Differences Simplified

Yamaha has stunned everyone by launching the all-new YZF R15 version 4.0 entry-level sports motorcycle that comes with plenty of premium features that can even put the bikes above its class to shame. However, some of these features are restricted to its top-spec R15M variant. So, for your convenience, we have simplified all the variants of the Yamaha R15 V4.0 through a table: –

All three variants of Yamaha R15 V4.0 powered by the 155cc liquid-cooled VVA-equipped motor that churns out 18.4PS at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm at 7500rpm. That's 0.25PS less than the R15 V3. It doesn't have any direct opponent in the Indian market. However, as per its pricing, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Rs 1.62 lakh), KTM RC 125 (Rs 1.80 lakh) and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 (Rs 1.83 – 1.84 lakh) could be seen as its close competitors in the entry-level sports bike segment.
