Yamaha Now Offers 10-Year Warranty At No Extra Cost

Yamaha has announced a 10-year warranty for its entire made-in-India two-wheeler lineup. Aimed at enhancing peace of mind, this complimentary warranty is a part of Yamaha’s “Total Warranty Initiative”, offering a 2-year standard warranty, along with an additional 8-year extended coverage for the engine and electrical components, including the fuel injection and hybrid systems. With this, Yamaha has become the only brand in India to provide such long-term coverage at no additional cost.

Under this limited-run initiative, Yamaha is offering its scooters like the RayZR 125, RayZR Street Rally, Fascino 125, Aerox 155, and Aerox 155 Version S with up to 1 lakh km warranty. For bikes like the R15, MT15 and FZ series, the coverage goes up to 1.25 lakh km.

It is worth noting that this 10-year warranty is available only on the made-in-India models for free for a limited period. Having said that, it won’t be applicable to the premium imports like the R3 and MT03.

While the offer is available for a limited time, buyers can still opt for the extended warranty later by paying Rs 2499 extra. And the best part is that this warranty is transferable to the next owner if you sell the bike. This will also boost its resale value.

We believe Yamaha’s new 10-year free warranty initiative significantly raises the bar for after-sales support in the Indian two-wheeler market. By covering up to 1.25 lakh km and making the warranty transferable to subsequent owners, the brand not only ensures long-term peace of mind and reduced maintenance costs but also strengthens resale value and buyer confidence. This bold move reflects Yamaha’s growing focus on customer retention, product reliability, and building a premium ownership experience—key differentiators in a highly competitive segment.
