To create excitement among two-wheelers buyers, Yamaha has launched the new range-topping DLX variant of the FZS-Fi model at Rs 1,18,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 3,000 pricier than the standard model (Rs 1,15,900). It will be available at all the authorized Yamaha dealerships from the second week of January 2022.
The all-new FZS-Fi DLX variant features a host of exclusive cosmeitcal updates. To start with, the new FZS-Fi DLX trim will be available in three colour options: Metallic Black, Majestic Red, and Metallic Grey, with refreshed graphics, coloured alloy wheels (golden/blue), and a dual-tone colour seat with Metallic Black and Metallic Deep Red paint options. Besides, the new trim also gets LED turn indicators and LED taillamp, with the latter making its way to the standard FZS-Fi as well.
The other notable features of the FZS-Fi includes LED headlamp, disc brakes at both ends with single-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS) in the front, and Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster with Connect X technology that further includes features like Answer Back, Locate my Vehicle, Parking Record & Hazard, and Riding History.
At heart, the new DLX variant retains the same 149cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine as the standard variant that is good in producing 12.4PS of peak power at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of maximum torque at 5500rpm.
In the 150cc segment, the Yamaha FZS-Fi locks horn with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero Xtreme 160R, and the Honda XBlade. The Apache still has an edge over its rivals.
