Yamaha FZ Rave Launched At Rs 1.17 Lakh

Expanding its popular FZ lineup, Yamaha India has launched the all-new FZ Rave at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Building on the legacy of over 2.75 million FZ motorcycles already on Indian roads, the FZ-Rave has been developed with direct rider feedback to cater to the preferences of modern urban motorcyclists.

Yamaha FZ Rave – Design

The bike adopts a sportier, more dynamic design, featuring a bold full-LED projector headlamp with integrated position light, a muscular fuel tank with cosmetic air vents, and a compact exhaust that enhances its street presence. The single-piece seat and sleek tail section not only improve comfort but also give the motorcycle a cohesive, athletic look.

Yamaha FZ Rave – Engine Details and Underpinnings

Powering the Yamaha FZ Rave is the trusted 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 9.1 kW (12.4 PS) of power. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth and responsive performance ideal for both city rides and short weekend runs. Yamaha claims the motor has been refined for linear acceleration and high fuel efficiency, staying true to the FZ family’s balance of thrill and economy.

Safety is handled by front and rear disc brakes with single-channel ABS, offering improved braking confidence. With a kerb weight of 136 kg and a 13-litre fuel tank, the FZ-Rave achieves a great balance between agility, stability, and range.

Yamaha FZ-Rave – Colours

The bike will be available in two colours — Matte Titan and Metallic Black — both designed to appeal to younger, style-conscious riders. Yamaha says the graphics and finishes were developed after “deep research and customer discussions” to align with Indian youth trends.

Three More Products Unveiled/Launched

With the new FZ-Rave joining the lineup alongside the newly launched XSR 155 and Yamaha’s first EVs, the Aerox E and EC-06, the company has made it clear that it intends to dominate both traditional and future-ready mobility segments in India.
