Unofficial Bookings Open For Mahindra XUV 3XO

The facelifted Mahindra XUV300, now renamed as the XUV 3XO, is set to be launched on April 29. But ahead of its official arrival, select Mahindra dealerships have started accepting its bookings.

Mahindra XUV 3XO – What To Expect?

While Mahindra has yet to reveal the complete design of the XUV 3XO, the teasers have provided us with a glimpse of its design highlights. These include a refreshed front fascia with a gloss black grille, redesigned headlights slightly resembling the XUV700’s, and updated alloy wheels. At the rear, there’s a connected LED tail lamp and a revised tailgate with ‘XUV 3XO’ badging.

The XUV 3XO’s interior is getting a significant overhaul inspired by the XUV400 EV. It will feature a redesigned centre console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone AC, ventilated front seats, a type-C USB charging port, multiple driving modes and several other new features.

On the safety front, the upgraded SUV is likely to receive a few Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), joining forces with six airbags, ESC, hill hold, traction control, TPMS and a myriad of other cutting-edge features.

Mahindra XUV 3XO mileage

Underneath the hood, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to retain its current engine lineup, comprising a 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 130PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission choices will likely encompass a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic for the diesel and base turbo-petrol variants.

Mahindra has unveiled that the XUV 3XO boasts an ARAI-certified mileage of 20.1kmpl, while also zipping from 0-60 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.

The XUV 3XO is anticipated to command a significant price hike compared to the existing XUV300, which begins at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will remain in competition with models such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
