Mahindra Thar Waiting Period Detailed

In its continuous efforts, Mahindra has managed to reduce the delivery time on the Thar off-roader. The Thar 4×4 can now be had 2 months after booings; however, the 4×2 variants still command a significant waiting period of up to 10 months. Here are the details: –

  • If you’re looking for the 4×4 variants of the Mahindra Thar, irrespective of the fuel and roof-top type, you might have to wait from 6 weeks to 2 months. This marks a significant improvement from the 3-month waiting period reported in February 2024.
  • Thar’s diesel 4×2 variants have a maximum waiting period of 9-10 months across two available trims.
  • Mahindra Thar petrol 4×2 variants have a reduced waiting period of up to 4 months, down by about a month from February 2024.
  • Thar 4×2 models are exclusively offered with a hardtop configuration.
  • The Thar 4×2 variants are priced between Rs 11.25 lakh and Rs 14 lakh, while the Thar 4×4 models range from Rs 14.30 lakh to Rs 17 lakh for petrol and from Rs 14.85 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh for diesel (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
