Ultraviolette Extends Introductory Pricing for Tesseract – Here’s What You Need to Know

Ultraviolette recently launched the Tesseract, a maxi-styled electric scooter, alongside the Shockwave motocycle. Initially launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.2 lakh for the first 10,000 customers, the EV maker has now extended this offer to the first 50,000 bookings. Interestingly, the scooter has already received over 20,000 bookings within 48 hours of its debut. This means only 30,000 bookings remain if you want to avail of the introductory price. Otherwise, you’ll have to pay the regular price of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ultraviolette has also extended its introductory offer on the Shockwave bike for the first 2000 bookings.

As mentioned above, the Ultraviolette Tesseract is a maxi-styled scooter that takes inspiration from the attack helicopter. It gets dual apron-mouted LED projector headlamps, with floating DRLs. It has chunkier front profile, with edgy body panels with sharp cut & creases. The brand offers it in four colour options: Stealth Black, Sunburst Sand, Sonic Pink, and Solar White.

Powering the Tesseract is a up to 15kW motor that claims to do the 0 to 60 kmph run in just 2.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 125 kmph. Regarding battery packs, it will be offered in three battery choices: 3.5kWh, 5kWh and 6kWh. Here’s a look at their specifications: –

Regarding features, the Tesseract comes with a big 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, with connected features, e-sim connectivity, a full-fledged navigatio, wireless charging, traction control system, 4-levels of dynamic regenerative braking, hill-hold, park assist, dual dashcam setup with Violette AI integration and ADAS suite. The scooter gets a 3 year/75,000km standard warranty which can be extended to 8 years/2 lakh km. There’s an 8-year battery warranty as well.

Ultraviolette will commence deliveries of the Tesseract from the first quarter of 2026.
