Kia Carens Hits 2 Lakh Sales Mark in Just 3 Years!

The Kia Carens has just achieved a 2 lakh unit sales milestone since its launch in February 2022. Known for its spacious & feature-loaded cabin, the Carens MPV has gathered a lot of attention among potential buyers.

The popularity of the Kia Carens is reflected in the strong demand for its top trims, which account for 24% of sales. These higher trims, packed with features like a sunroof, multi-drive modes, ventilated seats, connected car tech, and more, have particularly resonated with buyers.

In terms of powertrain preferences, the petrol variant dominates with 58% of sales, while diesel variants contribute 42%. The rising preference for convenience is evident, as 32% of customers have chosen Automatic and iMT transmission options. Additionally, 28% of the buyers opted for the sunroof-equipped variant and 95% of the total product sales came from the 7-seater models, making it a true family car.

Kia Carens Price and Rivals

The Kia Carens is priced from Rs 10.60 lakh and Rs 19.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), positioing it against the Maruti XL6, Toyota Rumion, and Maruti Ertiga.
