TVS NTorq 150 Launched As Brand’s Most Powerful ICE Scooter; Check Prices

TVS Motor Company has launched its first-ever 150cc scooter, called the NTorq 150, priced from Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Expanding the brand’s highly-popular NTorq series, the new 150cc model is the most powerful and feature-loaded scooter in the ICE portfolio.

TVS NTorq 150 – Design and Features

Drawing inspiration from the Graphite concept, the new NTorq 150 looks very sporty and futuristic, featuring a chiselled front apron housing the segment’s first LED projector headlamp setup.

Further enhancing its sporty appeal are the naked handlebars, contrast-colored alloy wheels and bold, angular body panels with a striking dual-tone paint scheme.

At the rear, the X-shaped LED tail lamp and sporty exhaust cover give the NTorq 150 a distinctive road presence.

The Hosur-based manufacturer has also packed the scooter with a host of segment-first features like: –

The scooter also gets amenities such as traction control, a USB charging port, an engine kill switch, hazard lamps, a pass switch, a 5-inch TFT cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity with 50+ connected features, including navigation assist, music/call control, live tracking, last parked location assist, advanced ride analytics, and many more.

Underpinnings

Suspension duties here are handled by telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock absorber at the rear. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels, shod with 100/80 section front and 110/80 section rear tubeless tyres. For braking, it gets 220mm front discs with single-channel ABS and a 130mm rear drum.

Speaking of the dimensions, it has a 155mm of ground clearance and a seat height of 770mm. It gets 22 litres of underseat storage, 2 litres of front glovebox and a 5.8-litre fuel tank.

What Powers The TVS NTorq 150?

The NTorq 150 is powered by an all-new 149.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, paired with a CVT gearbox. This gasoline mill churns out 13PS of max power at 7,000 rpm and 14.2Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm.

It also comes equipped with a high-torque ISG (integrated Starter Generator) machine for an extra performance boost.
