TVS Ntorq 125 Spiderman And Thor Edition Launched At Rs 84,850

In collaboration with Disney India’s consumer products business, the TVS Motor Company had introduced the SuperSquad Edition of Ntorq 125 scooter in October last year, offering three superhero theme options inspired by Iron Man, Captain America & Black Panther, respectively. Now, the Hosur-based manufacturer has added the Spider-Man and Thor-inspired version of the Ntorq 125 in the lineup at Rs 84,850 (ex-showroom Delhi), making them Rs 1,025 pricier than the other versions of the SuperSquad Edition.

Similar to the existing models of SuperSquad Edition, the new Spider-Man and Thor versions come with a special paint scheme and graphics that embody the key characteristics of both the Super Heroes on the scooters. That said, the Spider-Man Edition comes with a red and blue colour hue with white highlights, SuperSquad logo, web & spider patterns on the bodyworks, and '62' number on the front apron denoting the year 1962 when Spider-Man was introduced. It also uses the phrase “Beyond Amazing” on the side panel.

On the other hand, the Thor Edition gets a black and grey colour scheme with red highlights. It gets Thor’s hammer graphics on the front appron, along with the SuperSquad logo and the number ‘62’. On the side, it features a ‘Ride The Lightning’ catchphrase.

Both the scooters also enfold the more nuanced details of the Marvel Super Heroes on the TVS Connect App, comprising character-specific personalized User Interfaces (UI). The app also opens with a silhouette of the respective character insignias, such as the Spider-Man logo and Thor’s hammer.

Besides these cosmetic additions, the rest of the scooters remain the same as the standard model. That means the new SuperSquad edition continues to get the same 124.8cc, 3-valve, single-cylinder, fuel-injected (FI) engine like the regular models that deliver 9.38PS of power and 10.5Nm of peak torque. Unfortunately, the SuperSquad edition does not feature the first-in-segment dual ride modes (Race and Street) as the Race XP variant of the scooter.
