TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Now Available With USD Fork

TVS has upgraded the Apache RTR 160 4V with a golden-finish 37mm inverted fork (upside-down fork) and three new colour options: Pearl White, Matte Black and Granite Grey, complemented by race-inspired graphics and red alloys.

The new range-topping Apache RTR 160 4V with USD is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), making it only Rs 500 more expensive than the dual-channel ABS trim.

For those unaware, the key rivals of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, are already equipped with USD forks. Now, in response to customer demand, the Apache 160 also offers this feature. Compared to the conventional forks, the USD forks are better at handling stress and provide a more consistent damping response, especially under high speed. They also offer better stability and sweeten the visual appearance.

Aside from these additions, the TVS Apache RTR 60 4V remains unchanged. It continues to get an air-oil-cooled 159.7cc single-cylinder engine that makes 14.55PS and 14.73Nm. It also has three riding modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain, and benefits from a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS). The other notable features include: –

  • LED headlamps with DRLs
  • Tank and engine cowls
  • Split grab rails
  • LCD instrument cluster

and

  • TVS SmartXonnect technology, which shows lean angle, race telemetry, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, crash alert, low-fuel warning, and assist.
