Triumph Scrambler 400X Gets A New Colourway

Triumph Motorcycles has introduced a new Lava Red colour option for the Scrambler 400X in India. With this, the prices of the bike have also been pushed by just Rs 758, making it cost Rs 2.67 lakh (ex-showroom).

This new vibrant Red colour replaces the existing red colour option. However, the other body shades (Matt Khaki Green, Pearl Metallic White and Phantom Black) will continue to be offered.

For those unaware, the Triumph Scrambler 400X is actually an off-road capable iteration of the Speed 400, which boasts several styling tweaks, distinct ergonomics, and mechanical enhancements, including larger wheels, more suspension travel and additional accessories tailored to its adventure spirit.

Mechanically, the bikes remain the same. It continues to draw its power from a 398cc, liquid-cooled engine, paired with a 6-speed transmission. It produces 40PS at 8,000 rpm and 37.5Nm at 6500 rpm and claims a fuel efficiency of 28.3 kmpl.

In the Indian market, the Triumph Scrambler 400X locks horns with the Yezdi Scrambler, Royal Enfield Scram 440, and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
